Holiday snaps with a difference as OUTDOORSmagic member Conan Harrod's gallery album takes us from base camp to the top of the world :-)
We get some fantastic images uploaded to the OUTDOORSmagic gallery
every week, but it's not often that they happen to be a pictorial
record of a successful ascent of Everest, but that's what
Conan Harrod's 'Big Mountain Taster Session' album is all
about.
Conan, if you didn't know, is a bona fide OUTDOORSmagic member,
who a couple of years back survived a broken leg high on Everest when
an American climber fell on top of him triggering a fraught retreat
to base camp helped by other climbers.
Undaunted, Conan - appropriately known as 'Survivor' on the OM forum - returned to the mountain this spring just weeks
after marrying fellow OM member Lindsay, and this time successfully
summited the world's highest mountain.
