Friday Afternoon Mountain Videos :-)
Obviously you're working hard, I mean, it's Friday afternoon - or Monday morning now - but hey, just a few minutes browsing through some nice mountain videos wouldn't hurt...

What could be better on a grey Friday afternoon than looking at
inspiring, or even uninspiring, outoor videos cadged off
You Tube?
It goes without saying that the typical OUTDOORSmagic member is in
a head down, take no prisoners work mode, so because we're kind and
thoughtful, we thought we'd do some of the searching through endless
vids for you, here's a few we reckon are worth a look, and there are
a whole lot more besides - some judicious searching'll turn up stuff
from all around the world...
Jacks Rake - Pavey Ark
First off, your starter for ten from OM member Stouffer, it does
what it says on the can, a nicely filmed, atmospheric trip up the
classic grade one scramble.
Tryfan North Ridge
Another OM member special, this time it's Ray Saunders on the
classic scrambling grade one route in North Wales - class music too
Crib Goch
Ray Saunders again, he likes his Welsh scrambles, this time it's
the airy ridge of Crib Goch getting the YouTube treatment - those
trousers look familiar as well... Funny how that pinnacle always
looks worse from a distance.
Helvellyn - via Striding Edge
A wibbly wobbly ascent of the classic Lakeland ridge, with the
accent on scenery...
Lakes From The Air
Just like it sounds, a flyover the Lake District in a plane
with those funny propellor things on it. Spot those Wainwrights
before it all goes flat...
Snowdon Summit View
If you've never been to the summit of Snowdon on a clear day,
here's how it looks :-)
Loads more on YouTube as well, but hey, shouldn't you be doing some work ;-)
