If it's Friday, then it must be time for the Friday Matinee, our
regular helping of streaming mountain video. Ideal for filling
in those frustrating Friday afternoon hours before you can escape to
the hills.
This week something remarkable to gawp at in the shape of a video
showing Swiss climber Uli
Steck setting record times for soloing the north faces of
the Grandes Jorasses, the Matterhorn and the Eiger in 2008/09. Bonkers
stuff...
