Friday Mountain Video

If it's Friday - and our iFriday iPhone app says that  it most certainly is, then it must be time for the Friday Matinee, our regular helping of streaming mountain video.

And this week, inspired by one of our Gallery Round-Up images, we thought we'd showcase our favourite Scottish ridge, the Aonach Eagach in Glencoe.

And to get things rolling, here's a blast from the past. Muriel Gray on the Aonach Eagach for the Munro Show. Clock that fleece, I mean, would you wear that, in a place where people might see you? A great introduction to the ridge though.



And here's someone who isn't Muriel Gray on the same ridge on what looks like a spectacularly nice day albeit with some questionable piped music.


And finally, you can't beat the Aonach Eagach in winter for epic views and some interestingly exposed moves. And this,  no less, is Alan Hinkes guiding Trail's Matt Swaine along the snow-covered arete. Sharpen your crampons...
