Friday Mountain Video

If it's Friday it must be time for the Friday Matinee, our selection of streaming mountain video to ease you gently over into the weekend.

This week, short but sharp, we're going to feature our two favourite mountain nutters in action. We've done both before, but they're worth seeing again.

First off, the legendary, late Dan Osman speed climbing Lover's Leap in California. And no, it's not speeded up. Scary stuff...


And in the same vein, the extraordinary Dean Potter soloing the Nose of El Capitan. Slightly slower but then the route is a heck of a lot bigger...


And last but not least, Potter again, this time highlining without a safety rope on Lost Arrow Spire. Absolutely terrifying and astonishing.
