There's a Lakeland flavour this month as the gallery is avalanched with some cracking images...

There's been a bit of an outdoors imagery explosion on the OM Gallery over the past couple of weeks - must be all that high pressure settled weather, clear skies, frosty mornings and the odd usting of snow. Whatever the reason, it's time for another meander through some of your latest photographs.

And remember, you can always use the Latest images

Aladdin's Boudoir?

Richard G's been eyeing the classic Grade One winter line up Aladdin's Couloir in the northern corries of the 'gorms. Just to the right you can make out the gnarly little step on Mirror Direct where the OM editor once spent five miserable minutes with spindrift pouring down his neck :-(

Crinkle Time

OM resident pro snapper, Lord of the Crinkles aka Steve Walton has been busy as well with some gorgeous Lakeland landscapes added to his album. This is Great Gable but there's more inside...

And More Lakes...

The recent OM Windy Meet in the Lakes spawned an absolute avalanche of stonking images thanks to superb weather, here are a few, follow the individual links through to see more.

Brocken Spectator...

We always like a good Brocken Spectre, the bonkers effect where a shadow's projected into the cloud with an eerie halo effect. This is Kinley's shot taken while descending Stob Coire Claurigh. Nice :-)

A Load Of Cobbler...

Anthony Angus says he wasn't hanging about when he took this atmospheric shot of the Cobbler, it was simply too cold. Glad he stopped long enough to capture this though...

Bivvy Heaven

That fella PTC has been out and about again and we particularly like this dramatic sunset shot from a recent bivvy trip, lovely and more nice shots in his gallery album.

Haweswater Morning

Another stunner from Marcus Crompton who's 200 odd images are always worth a browse on a grey, miserable indoor afternoon. This is a mirror-like Haweswater in the morning.

Lingmell Beck Bridge

Jon Shack's been out in the Lakes too and we like his shot of Lingmell Beck Bridge, so here it is...

That's it for this week's round-up. Remember there are new images being added to the gallery all the time, so if you're bored or in need of inspiration, just drop by and take a look. The gallery tab's at the top of the page.
