Gallery Round-Up - March 2010

It's a special snowy bonus edition - our recent fave images from the OM Gallery pages.

It's been a while since we've carried a Gallery Round-Up and recent winter conditions have made for some fantastic snowy mountain landscapes, so we thought it was about time we picked out some of our favourite images of the last month or so.

Don't forget, all OUTDOORSmagic members get 3MB of free space in the Gallery to share their own outdoor images with others.

Moody Skiddaw

Ed h has been out and ab out in the northern Lakes and, as usual, come back with some lovely images for his album we rather like this monochrome take on the summit of Skiddaw.

Weird Rocks

If you want weird rocks, there's only one place to go, the Glyders in Snowdonia, which is where John 2 went for these one. More in the Sky Blue Glyders album.

Wester Ross

This is shot of Beinn Dearg Mor and its friends behind Larachantivore by Alexander Rae. Loving the sun flare...

Snowdonian Bliss

Some nice stuff from the Lakes and Snowdonia in Sue Evans' album, we like this doggy invasion of Llyn Idwal...

Woot!

We like this, Maria's shot of a low sun in the 'gorms in the midst of a winter skills course.

Over Wasdale

A really lovely shot of the high tops above Wasdale by Simon G from the Black Sail Meet Veb 2010 album.

And Blimey...

More from another regular, Bogmon in this case. This insane sky is from the Glascwm Hills. Lots more Welsh loveliness in his album.

More From Black Sail

Bob C this time with a moonlit shot of Great Gable, 45 seconds apparently and quite beautiful. More in the album.

Somewhere Far Away...

... but still snowy in the shape of Paddy's Nepal album.

Aonach Eagach

Someone's been  up on Glencoe's AE ridge, someone in this case being Alan Bellis and it looks as stunning as ever under full snow cover. As usual, Alan's mountain travels album  is well worth a browse.

More Moonlight...

We don't know where this is, just that it's a night shot taken from a high winter camp by Kinley, but wow...

Closer...

Serious rime from Mark Baker, this was taken in the Arrans for his Bake's Travels album.

Celebrity   Big Blue

More from Ed H, this is 'Posh and Becks on Helvellyn' apparently, though more accurately Mr and Mrs Diddy... How blue is that sky?

And that's just scraping the surface, to the point where we may even run a part two next week. In the mean time, pop over to the OM Gallery and  have a browse. It really is quite inspirational at the moment.
