The pick of the OUTDOORSmagic gallery from the last month as autumn waves its leafy fingers...

We've been a little quiet on the Gallery Round-Up front, but as ever
the OM
Gallery is full of ace outdoors shots from all
over the world and of course, all OUTDOORSmagic members get three
completely free megabytes of space to show off and share their
favourite outdoor images...
Amazingly, there are now some 14,800 images in the Gallery spread over
around 1700 albums, which is one hell of a lot of pictures. Here are
some of the best from last month, October 2008 :-)
Ain't Life Tough?
Freshly uploaded to his aptly-named
I
wish I was there now instead of sat at my blummin' desk album
by Justin Murphy, this one struck a chord with us all right. That'll be
the Dolomites then... The rest of the album's well worth a look as well.
Let's Get Autumnal...
John Henderson's new
autumn
stream walk album does pretty much what it says
on the box. It's autumn and it's a stream and rather lovely in a dying
of the light, russet-leaved sort of way.
Aysgarth Falls
Of course autumn's not always gentle,
especially when it's been raining a bit and there's a head of drainage
coming down from the tops. This is Deborah Clark's shot of a rather
watery Aysgarth Falls.
Autumn Ben
And while we're being autumnal, here's Ben Nevis looking
well, wintry really, in October from John Cameron's consistently
viewable
Lochaber
album and there are
plenty more where that came from :-)
October Treescape
We like this moody treescape from Imperial
Dave, October again, moody again. What else can you say?
Brecon Meet
Hamish Fenton's added to his OM
Meets Album, this one's an image from October
2008's Brecon Beacon Meet, and pretty dramatic it is too. That's MikeyH
walking along, just in case you didn't recognise him...

And from the same meet, different photographer, this is
Richard Roworth's shot of 'some tarn thing'...
Some Tarn Thing - Richard Roworth
And Now For Soomething
Snowdonian...
More from John Henderson, this time from North Wales, this
is a strange rock somewhere near Elidir Fawr, or that's what we're
assuming given the name of the
album.

Strange Rock - John Henderson
And from the same album, this is the stunning view over towards the
Glyders and Tryfan with both llyn Idwal and Llyn Ogwen visible in the
foreground. Nice...

It's Going To Rain In A Minute...
This is a shot of walkers descending Cat Bells towards
Keswick by Steve Robinson and I think we can all guess what happens
next... excellent moodiness that sums up the changeable nature of
British mountain weather rather nicely.
Towards The Storm - Steve Robinson
That's it for now. Don't forget that all OMers have a
free 3 MB of space to show off their outdoor images and there are more
being added every day. Just check out the
Latest
Images page to see what's new and enjoy :-)
