Time for another OM
Gallery Round-up, with some fantastic late
summer and early autumn photography to look at. And don't forget that
all
OUTDOORSmagic members get three megabytes of free space to share their
outdoor images with other OM users.
Dusking...
It's getting dark earlier and earlier, so
Alan Bellis's shot of Dusk
over Capel Curig
seems kind of apt. We like the atmospheric lights in the foreground.
Strangely we misread the title as 'Ducks over Capel Curig',
which
would be a different photo entirely...
Torridonian
This is Beinn Alligin in Torridon, the one with the famous
horns, by Dunroamin and it's a lovely view as well as a fantastic
walking / scrambling peak.
Surreal Sunset
Another stunner from Jon Cameron, this is dusk at Cuil Bay, Duror and
full of amazing colours. Check out the rest of his consistently lovely Lochaber
album as well.
Rocks...
We like the rock crevices and shape in this May Contain Nuts photo,
though we have no idea where it is. Snowdonia?
Sharp Edge
The enigmatically named
John 2 obviously
had a trip up to the northern Lakes. This is the famously exposed Sharp
Edge on Blencathra on a 'busy' day.
And from the same album, here's the view south from Blencathra on a
stunning day.
Foreign Parts...
We like Jerry Cox's selection of images mostly from Italy, Norway and
Austria, this is a high pass in the former. Three points of contact,
erm, sort of...
Clouds On One Side...
This is an unusual shot of the Aonache Eagach
ridge that
bounds one side of Glencoe by Posh Totty. A terrific scramble with
amazing views and atmosphere. Great in winter too.
Alpine...
One more for luck, some ace photos in Bogmon's Vallousise, Ecrins Alps album,
including this 'Angry Sky' at Pointe des Arcas. The rest of the album's
well worth a browse as well.
And one for luck, the Col de Granon ridge. Looks lovely...
And that's it for now. Lots more in the OM
Gallery, or share your own pics with other OM
users.
