Live From OutDoor In Germany

We're out in Germany right now for Europe - and possibly the world's - biggest OutDoor trade show, the astonishingly BIG OutDoor in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Outside it's damp and drizzly, but inside the 14 odd massive halls, the sun always shine and the biggest brands in the outdoors are showing off their new kit due out in spring 2012.

It really is a huge affair. All the brands you've heard of, plus a massive raft you haven't. Ever. They're big in, say, Kazakhstan, but unheard of in Sheffield. Apparently there are 890 brands here from 39 different countries, with everything from socks to climbing hardware.

We're meeting all the main movers and shakers over the next couple of days and while we're ridiculously busy, we'll also try to upload some news and pics live to the site, but also to our twitter feed @OutdoorsMagic.

But to kick things off, here are a few tasters, plus some shots of this year's award winners from the show.
