Snowy Gallery Round-Up

Winter arrives in the OUTDOORSmagic gallery and it looks rather good :-)

The poor old OUTDOORSmagic Gallery has a been a little off colour recently, but fortunately a team of highly expert techno-surgeons has been hard at work and it's all fully functional again, just in time for the arrival of winter.

And as you might expect, there are some rather lovely snowy landscapes popping up all over, here are a few to whet your appetite. And if you haven't uploaded yours yet, then why not take advantage of the 3MB of free web space that every OMer gets to share their pics in the Gallery?

Glencoe Snow :-)

John Cameron's Scottish landscapes are some of our favourites and he's been excelling himself recently. This view of Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe is an absolute classic and there's even more loveliness in his  excellent Lochaber album.

Cocky Or What?

You can tell it's Christmas when some photo tart of a robin comes hopping along as you're loading pack and boots into your car after a snowy Kinder wander and virtually screams 'Me! Me! Me! Photograph me now...

Dustings In The Lakes

More snow courtesy of Cath Sullivan. This time it's Helvellyn with just the beginnings of some decent cover. Bet there's a bit more up there now :-)

This Is The Sea

If you want proper snow, then you'll be heading for Scotland - this is Elaina looking out from Ladhar Beinn towards the sea - photographer Ayrshire Tiger.

Beacons of Frost

Frost rather than snow down in the Brecon Beacons from Metric Kate, this is the view from Craig Cerrig Gleisiad.

In The Glen Under The Ben

More Scottish winter, this time from Justin Murphy with snow-encrusted trees in Glen Nevis - more snowy stuff in his album.

Dartmoor Rime...

And just to prove that winter doesn't have to mean northern, here's a rime-encrusted, erm structure from North Dartmoor by Mole. Beautiful stuff, rime. Natural sculpture and there's more in his Dartmoor album.

Combe Head

More high up snow, this is Ed H luxuriating in the snow at Combe Head.

Small Hill, Big View

And last but very definitely not least, we couldn't resist this rather lovely landscape from John Cameron again :-)

And that's it for now, lots more to browse through on the OM Gallery - remember, all OM members get  3MB of free web space to show off their outdoors pics. And somehow, we think there might just be a cracking image or two appearing after this wintry looking weekend - enjoy :-)
