The Easter Matinee

One for the weekend with the very cold and the very mad walkway of El Chorro, don't look down...

If it's Thursday and tomorrow's a Bank Holiday, which it is, then it must be time for the Friday Matinee, or should that be the Thursday Matinee?

Well, whatever it is, if you're bored, this is a golden opportunity to kill some time and, because the weather forecast is so dire, we thought we'd have some hot weather climbing, then we thought, what the heck, how about saying goodbye to winter, so we did both in a vaguely schizoid sort of way...

So to start off, here's coldness and sunshine in one ice climbing in the Rockies sort of way...

Oooh, this looks a bit colder. Ice in Norway no less, and steep too :-)

That's enough frozen water for now though, how about somewhere hot for a change, how about somewhere nuts, in fact howabout the infamous path along the side of the the El Chorro gorge in Spain. Hmmmm.... mind the gap.

And here's one with a bit more perspective... erm, don't look down. Apparently it's technically closed pending repairs. Can't think why...

And that, I think, is that. Have a good Easter and don't walk along narrow pathways with big holes in them...

This really is quite nuts, I'd heard a lot about it, but not seen it. Now I'm not sure I really want to
