The Friday Matinee
We take on one of online video's great mountaineering challenges...

Yep, if it's Friday then it must unquestionably be time for the
Friday Matinee, your online video excuse to fade seamlessly into
the weekend.
This week we thought we'd take on one of the great challenges of
mountaineering - the Seven Summits - but in a virtual sense of
finding summit videos from all of them...
Could we manage this momentous online first? Let's see....
Denali, Alaska - North America
Elbrus, Russia - this one scares us...
Aconcagua, Argentina - South America
Kilimanjaro, Tanzania - Africa, wow...
Mount Vinson, Antarctica
Everest, Asia
Erm, yep, you're right, that's only six. Sadly we failed - we
thought Carstenz might be hard to find, but we're jiggered if we can
find a clip of anyone on Carstensz Pyramid, the highest peak in
Australasia. And yes, we did remember the 's'.
Never mind, have a great weekend and if you do climb Carstenz,
upload a video and send us a link so we can achieve closure :-)
