Seeing as it's Friday, it can only be time for yet another
Friday Matinee, our shameless excuse to waste a few slow
Friday afternoon hours while the weekend ambles gently into view.
And seeing as it's winter, we thought we'd see if you could find
some nice Scottish winter conditions to inspire you :-)
First, here's an all-time classic big Scottish ridge climbed with
a classic British mountaineering hero, Alan Hinkes guiding - 'Is this
a video?' A cracking day out.
Some days Scotland is just perfect. Here's one of them, with
astonishing views above the clouds from Bidean in Glencoe,
lovely.
And here's some fellas winter climbing on Aonach Mor and Glencoe
with some interesting cornice-tunneling action towards the end...
And last, a slow, but strangely hypnotic snowboard descent of the
classic grade 1 Tower Gully on Ben Nevis.
Lots more where they came from too, more next week :-)
