The Friday Matinee

It's Friday, the week's lurching towards a cold and windy close, so it can only be time for the online video orgy that is the Friday Matinee, our gratuitous Friday afternoon time-killing confection of shame...

This week we're having a personality-based matinee featuring climber and sky diver Tim Emmett in various actions...

To kick things off, here's Tim - sponsored by JAZZ Apple no less, and yes, they are apples, a cross between Braeburn and Royal Gala no less, which will help you fling yourself off high cliffs in Norway in strange clothing...

Then we sort of found this, an interesting insight into the life of top climbers as Tim and his mate Leo Houlding cop a road trip around Europe in an Audi Q7. Clearly if you drive a Q7 it will help you fling yourself out of hot air balloons and more, but try not to fret overmuch about that. Some of the action sequences are actually pretty good.

Weird stuff that base jumping even without the apples and the Audis. So back to climbing - this is Tim featuring in a promo for a climbing DVD filmed in Vietnam.
