The Friday Matinee

If if it's Friday - checks calendar - and blimey, it is, then it can only mean one thing - yes, it's time for the Friday Matinee wtih its endearing promise of Friday afternoon distraction while you kill time before the weekend.

And this week, we thought we'd focus on one of our favourite mountains, Snowdon, the highest peak in England and Wales.

To get the streaming video ball rolling, here's a different take on the mountain, from a powered hang glider no less...

 And from the sublime to the erm, train, because we reckon it's a view most OMers will never see, here's at trip up the mountain on the Snowdon Mountain Railway complete with jazz soundtrack, nice... Look at the funny people walking up, dear. Don't they know there's a train?

Oh look, and here is someone walking up Snowdon. Her name's Emma and she made us smile anyway.

Also quite nice is this panoramic view from the summit of the mountain on an untypically clear day.
