The Friday Matinee!
Streaming videos for a Friday afternoon, this week with a touch of ridge...

If it's Friday then it can mean only one thing, yep, it's time for
the Friday Matinee, our selfless regular trawl through the
horrors of YouTube in search of mountainous streaming video.
This week we thought we'd go for our favourite mountain feature,
the good old ridge. Horizontal or vertical, you can't beat a nice
sharp ridgeline for some inherent drama and a bit of knee-trembling
exposure, ooh er...
Where you start? Easy, arguably the best ridge scramble on
mainland Britain, Glencoe's dramatic Aonach Eagach complete with
crazy pinnacles, explosed downclimbs and traverses and, erm, is that
a goat...
Nice... A bit further afield and a tad pinker, this is an ascent
of the classic Keyhole Ridge route on Long's Peak in Colorado.
Nice...
And back home for one we're run before and it' worth seeing again.
A cracking scramble up Pinnacle Ridge on St Sunday Crag in the Lakes.
Check out that top section if you were wondering where the name comes
from...
Last but not least, one that's on our list. The Upper Exum Ridge
of Grand Teton in the States. Mmmmm...
And that's it for this week - enjoy :-)

Some of Exum Ridge of Grand Teton unroped bits looked a bit crazy! The Grand Tetons are an amazing sight, a mini Alps in Wyoming.
