The Friday Matinee!
More Friday afternoon outdoor video vicarious action at 3000 feet up...

If it's Friday afternoon then it's absolutely time for the Friday Matinee, our
thinly veiled excuse to kill some weekend countdown time browsing
through the odd streaming outdoors video.
You might remember Leo Houlding slackling in Yosemite for a Berghaus
cinema commercial
a while back back. It was pretty dramatic stuff, but Leo was using a
safety line, so if he did fall off - which he did - he wasn't going
anywhere.
In contrast, American climber Dean Potter, tackles the same highline
traverse in Yosemite on Lost Arrow Spire, but he doesn't use a safety
line... Scary stuff.
And in case you thought that looked a bit easy, here's just how awkward
Leo found it making the Berghaus commercial...
Then again, you could just tie in and jump off like the
legendary Dan Osman.
That's it for this week. Don't try that at home, erm, any of that...
