The Friday Matinee!

If it's Friday, which is very definitely is, and the forecast is looking wintry - which it very definitely is - then it can mean only one thing, it must be time for the Friday Matinee our selection of streaming video distraction to help you illicitly while away the idle afternoon hours before the arrival of what looks like a cracking winter weekend :-)

So with it being wintry, what better than a trip over to the absolute mecca of British winter climbing, Ben Nevis. Check out this awesome footage from Point Five Gully, an all-time classic route... Stunning footage.


And while we're on the Ben, here's an absolute cracker from the Orion Face, awesome, atmospheric footage that makes you want to climb Scottish ice, just lovely. Ain't YouTube great :-)


But of course, if you don't fancy swinging on ropes, you could always walk up amd look at the scenery instead of the next axe placement. And yes, that is a typical winter Ben summit view....
