Well, if it's Friday - yes, I know, predictable - then it must most
definitely be time for the Friday
Matinee, our handy time-killing
Friday afternoon selection of streaming video and seeing as it's pretty
much the start of winter, what better than some Cairngorm winter
climbing to whet your appetite for the white stuff?
This Aladdin's Mirror Direct in the northern corries. A
short but sweet crux, but where's all the spindrift that was pouring
down my neck when I did it eh?
And as an antidote to those perfect conditions on Mirror Direct, here's
a more familiar Cairngorm scenario on Y Guly Righthand. Taste the
spindrift, love the wind...
More authentic Cairngormness on this video of an ascent of Fingers
Ridge. Makes you want to get out there and climb eh?
And last but not least, this is Spiral Gully at the beginning of
