A two-legged tour of the last week's highlights from the OM gallery.

The weekly gallery round-up has seen virtual Mediterranean tours and world tours, snowy editions and climbing editions, not to mention the obligatory wet and misty ones. There's one thing we don't often see much of though, and that's people.
Well, it's time to rectify that. For whatever reason, the camera lenses seem to have turned away from the mountainsides this week and focused instead on fellow OMers - in desirable poses or otherwise.
Find out what we mean in this week's two-legged tour of the gallery ...
Chilling...
... and that's not just the temperature of the water. As an old hand in the gallery, Jamie Bassnett has a huge album of fell pics to add to this relaxing snap. The latest feature that well known form of mountain wildlife called, erm, the newt, and a step by step journey through his construction of a Guinness can stove - Jamie's, that is, not the newt's :-)

This early morning pic comes from the Sunrise album where all the skies are either primrose or dusky ones.

Wild Wanderings
There must be a two-legged being in this photo somewhere - hiding in the buildings perhaps - or perhaps not. Anyway, Doune was the site of just one of many wild wanderings by Colin L and you can get lost for a while browsing them in his album. Scotland and the Lakes are the main focus, in all seasons and all weathers.

Pour on Water
As summer heats up, here's a timely reminder of the havoc a stray cigarette end, or any other spark, can wreak. Hamish is another of the long-standing regulars in the OM gallery with a large album of hills, bridges, standing stones, and fortunately not too many bush fires.

Revenge!
"That'll learn 'im!" says Metric Kate. Apparently, this is OMer Matt C being punished for "one too many smutty comments!" It's turned into something of a caption competition though, where you can enter your own take on Matt's thoughts at finding himself in the stocks. Prepare to groan at the witticisms of other OM members if you do so - you have been warned. More photos in Kate's snaps album.

That's all for now. Upload your photos here - we love looking through them - and if you want some inspiration for places to take your camera, try the

section of the site. Also, the new, the wonderful, and the downright weird, from the world of outdoor gear, is always up for comment in our gear
reviews. Or you could just while away the afternoon chatting in the forum ...
