Forget the November blues - in this week's gallery round-up we head to Nepal, along the West Highland Way, and even to Skye - in the sunshine:-)
It's November - time for fog, drizzle, leaden skies, and general doom and gloom. Or not, as the case maybe. Jon's been busy reminding everyone that Winter is as much the time for walking as Summer, so long as you obey the principles of Beginners' Basics - Clothing for Cold and in the OUTDOORSmagic gallery there are plenty of photos to prove it's well worth getting out into the hills at this time of year. So, without further ado ...
Richard G begins the series of surprises by introducing us to A week in Sunny Skye! If we couldn't see the evidence in front of our eyes, we wouldn't have believed it:-). Andrew Terrill describes the album as "evocative and imaginative" and even the 'Mistress of Skye' herself was impressed, describing it simply as "a great album". Post your own thoughts on the forum thread.

Hamish Fenton sent us a fantastic photo of Crib Goch at sunrise for last week's gallery round-up. This week he's been out on the knife-edged ridges again, in just as lofty a spot. See more of his photos in The H album.

We never get through many weeks in the OM gallery without a few photos of Nepal. We can't think why, really. Nepal isn't mountainous or something, is it?:-) Steve Garratt's Nepali photos make for varied viewing. There are mountain peaks poking out of the cloud, like the one below, but also a collage of prayer flags, rickshaws, cheeky smiling faces, and a few other colourful bits and bobs. Browse through them in the Nepal album.

No, you aren't still dreaming, although 'Keening' must have wondered, when he saw this scene. It's the only photo so far in the Various Scotland album but we hope there'll be more to come...

Travels with Rob are mostly of the UK variety, but with a few snowy ventures to round things off (I haven't seen many teams of lapdogs in the Peak recently:-). Whether home or abroad, there are some great photos here - lakes, trig points, and those solitary trees perched on the horizon. Well worth a glance.

We haven't brought the gallery round-up to a red and dusky ending for a while, but this sunset was too good to miss. Anyone with aspirations to walk the West Highland Way can get a taster here - it's bound to increase your enthusiasm so long as you don't mind cattle with rather large horns:-)

Remember, everyone has 3MB of space in the gallery to upload their own photos.
