We thought the cracking 2012 ShAFF trailer put together by Alastair Lee deserved another showing - amazingly, over 71,000 people have viewed it already on YouTube, leaving festival director Matt Heason, 'blown away'.
Not only that - cue smooth transition into news story - tickets for this year's event, which runs from 9-11 March, 2012, at the Showroom Cinema in downtown Sheffield, are now on sale at the ShAFF web site - www.shaff.co.uk/tickets.
Not only that, but Matt tells us that there are a bunch of competitions running at the moment as well with prizes including a bike from the Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative, £500 cash and a lot of Arc'teryx kit in the Adventure Shot Photography Competition and £500 of Petzl bits in the ShAFF Shorts Video Comp - www.shaff.co.uk/competitions-prizes.
More news? Patagonia is the overall sponsor of the event this year, the first time ShAFF has had a headline sponsore and a reflection of just how far the event has come since it first launched a few years back.
