Serial award-winning film-maker Alastair Lee – the man behind Leo Houlding's Asgard Project film – has been busy again, this time filming Houlding climbing on El Capitan in Yosemite for his new film, PSYCHE II.
The shoot of Leo on his long time project, 'The Prophet' on the east face of the mountain is part of filming for PSYCHE II – the sequel to the original PSYCHE – which is due for release later this year. Al tells us that highlights should include Houlding climbing in both Yosemite and South Africa, Dave Birkett on some desperately hard trad, Andy Kirkpatrick in spontaneous and as yet undecided action, Steve McClure, deep water soloing with Neil Gresham, Mary Jenner completing the hardest trad route by a woman in the UK and a whole lot more.
Here are a couple of distance shots of Al filming Leo on the wall by photographer Tom Evans, and if you want more, you can see a full gallery of images from the shoot on Alastair's web site at www.posingproductions.com.
And while you're over there, check out the new, free, high resolution desktop wallpaper featuring images from the Asgard Project which – see how we did that – which recently won the Grand Prize at the Squamish Mountain Film Fetival in Candada.
