Behind the scenes at the filming of Al Lee's latest block-busting climbing film, PSYCHE II

The first PSYCHE was release back in 2007 - see our review - and was a trilogy of climbing shorts from around the world with the likes of Steve McClure climbing Dales overhangs, Andy Kirkpatrick and Ian Parnell battling with boredom in Patagonia and Dave Birkett climbing hard trad' on Skye.
In a predictable, Alastair Lee sort of way, it landed the People's Choice prize at that year's Kendal Mountain Festival and maybe less predictably, is Lee's top-selling DVD to date and top prize-winner too, and now PSYCHE II is in the pipeline, presumably structured in the same sort of way. Al's being tight lipped about what's in the mix, but this advanced 'making of' clip of Neil Gresham deep water soloing gives at least one clue.
On top of that, a little bird tells us, other segments include Leo Houlding climbing in Yosemite, Andy Kirkpatrick again, Steve Mclure and more. There's no release date yet, but we're guessing in time for this year's Kendal Mountain Festival would make sense.
