Who won Europe's toughest adventure race plus coming later, firsthand account from Steve Duffy of On The Hill

Wondering what happened to the On The Hill boys and Team The North Face in last week's Adrenalin Rush?

Well, judging by the race report on the Arenalin Rush site, things all got very torrid with the help of a river in spate which washed away Keith Byrne's bike and almost took Keith with it, then On The Hill editor Stev Duffy caught his leg between some boulders and... Well, the good news is that Steve should be telling you exactly what happened on the site later on today.

The event, which included an ascent of Curved Ridge along with a lot of other, erm, challenging stages was eventually won later on Thursday night by Team 9feet.com with Team UKatak.com coming second and Hellman Moritz 3rd.

Sounds like the event lived up to its reputation as Europe's most challenging adventure race - 'Tops but hard'was Mr Duffy's snap assessment.

Adventure racing is, of course, unimaginably tough and you can read all about it every month in On The Hill's new adventure race section at the back of the magazine. For more on On The Hill click here.
