With the second Sheffield Adventure Film Forum approaching fast, it's time for a quick freebie to help loyal OMers on their way to a virtual adventure-packed weekend. The festival takes place from 23rd - 25th March and this year we're giving away a book of ten tickets worth £45.
Whoever bags the prize can take their pick from over 60 films, showing ice berg climbing in Canada, a first descent of the gnarly-looking Mekong river, a one-ski descent of a 1500m north face in the French Alps, and plenty more crazy and impressive feats. Free entry to the Saturday night bash is included.
How to enter...
Just answer the easy question on our competition page - visit the ShAFF website if you need any hints. And if you have trouble picking from the overload of adventure films, try out the festival organisers' handy new web wizard. It lets you tick the films you want to watch and then hands you an itinerary, so you don't have to work out for yourself which screenings don't clash.
Just one thing: you'll have to get in there pretty quickly on this one as the competition closes next Thursday (15th).
See more details of the festival, and if you want to know which other outdoors events are coming up, remember that we have a brand new events calendar to help anyone as disorganised as us keep on top of things:-). It list film nights, mountain festivals, BMC lectures, and a few other bits and bobs that look interesting.

That's it for now, but we'll hunt down some more freebies as soon as we can ...
