Alpkit is running a series of DryIce sessions at indoor climbing walls this winter giving climbers a chance to try the innovative, award-winning FigFour training tools for real without getting cold.

The FigFour is a neat, wood-based axe with a wire loop attached which allows climbers to practice mixed climbing techniques on walls and crags without damaging holds or scraping the rock. See this YouTube clip for the FigFour in action.

The device was launched at the Tout a Blocs bouldering festival held in the alpine villages of L'Argentière la Bessée and Ailefroide, but now you can try it here in the UK.

Dates and Venues

17 November - The Edge, Sheffield.
3 December - Undercover Rock, Bristol.
6 December - The Climbing Academy, Bristol.
11 December - Nottingham Climbing Centre.
8-10 January - ICE. L'Argentiere la Bessee, France.
