This weekend's Sunday Times carried an extensive interview with Everest summiteer and Seven Summits club member Annabelle Bond.

In the interview with David Walsh, Ms Bond - inexplicably the blonde object of numerous OM forum crushes - talks about her experiences on Everest, confessing that 'for the final 40 minutes I cried the whole way, sobbed into my oxygen mask.' She also talks about her realisation, high on the mountain, that she could easily die up there.

Something that will strike a chord with anyone who's been to Nepal, she talks about how the culture their had made her more Buddhist and accepting of fate. Finally she describes the things in her life that turned her into a climber.
