Another Show Date

Another show date for your diaries, this one's the Daily Telegraph Adventure Travel and Sports Show at London's Olympia and it takes place on 13-15 January.

As you've probably worked out, the emphasis is on adventurous travel and there will be over 250 specialist tour operators offering a massive variety of organised trips throughout the world.

That's just part of it though. There's plenty for independent travellers as well. A whole theatre is dedicated to talks on how to improve your travel photography skills or break into travel writing - there's even a TNT photography clinic where you can bring your snaps along for advice from a professional picture editor.

Then there's a full programme of talks by the likes of Rebecca Stephens - first British woman up Everest - Jake Meyer, the youngest seven summiteer and epic TV traveller Benedict Allen.

Loads more too including a travel health and safety theatre plus the Virtual Adventure Centre where you can 'try' hang-gliding, ice-climbing or scuba diving, 'all in the warmth and comfort of Olympia'.
