Anquet Claims Cheapest Landranger Mapping

Mapping software specialist Anquet reckons it now has the cheapest OS Landranger maps in the UK thanks to a special half-price deal running throughout January 2010.

The 50% off offer applies to all of Anquet's 1:50,000 scale Landranger mapping either on CD or DVD or by Map Download from the company's web site. As an example, Anquet's best-selling product, their DVD of Great Britain, which normally retails for £165 is priced at £82.50 for this month.

It's an interesting time for digital mapping companies thanks to the Government's announcement that OS mapping will be available free online from April 2010 as part of a move to free up online data.
