Banff Comes To Buxton

One for the diary for Peak-based OMers with the news that the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will be dropping in for a UK stop at Buxton on 13 September, 2009.

The venue is Buxton Opera House and it's a rare opportunity to take in around two-and-a-half hours worth of the best offerings from last year's programme at arguably the world's premier mountain film festival.

The schedule includes 'Crux', a Ryan Leech film - him from The Collective - focussing on trials biking, 'The Fine Line' about snowsports and avalanche survival and lots more including films about climbing and base jumping.
