The BMC is offering a special deal for members of affiliated clubs who want to upgrade to individual membership.

For a cut price £9.50 - normally £25 - you will get full Individual voting rights, £10K personal accident insurance, and four issues of the full 64 page Summit magazine each year. Standard club members will only receive one full copy of Summit per year (March edition).

Obviously, more full members means more dosh in the BMC's coffers, something that's particularly relevant given the organisation's well publicised financial difficulties over the past few years, so it's a positive and direct way of supporting the BMC's work in the field of access and conservation and in representing outdoors interests to government organisations.

If you want to upgrade phone the BMC office on 0870 010 4878, or use the membership application form on the BMC website.
