Berghaus Flagship Store For London
Brand's second UK store set to open in Covent Garden this October.

Berghaus has announced the launch of its second UK
flagship store in London with the opening due in October
2008.
The new store is the second Berghaus-only retail outlet following
on from the brand's highly successful shop in Gateshead's MetroCentre
which opened last year. It will be based in Covent Garden, where
there's already a nucleus of outdoors shops and which was, according
to Berghaus brand president Richatd Cotter - below - 'always the
preferred location'.
The new shop will be owned and managed by Berghaus and designed to
have a very different feel and look from traditional outdoors stores,
which in turn should attract customers who find standard issue
outdoor shops alienating.
Not a lot of people know this, but in addition to the Gateshead
store, Berghaus now has 24 stores in South Korea and is aiming to
open no fewer than 400 stores across Asia.
