A teenager who climbed the Selfridges department store in Birmingham has told the Birmingham mail that it 'wasn't the cleverest thing to do' and said that a video of the climb has been removed from You Tube...

Actually it's still there... Or at least a shorter version is.

Apparently the teenage climber went for it on impulse. "I'd seen the building in town and thought, 'Why not give it a go'," he told the Birmingham Mail. "I had a look at the size of it and just shot straight up to the top. It was pretty exciting at the top.

"I was totally punked by the adrenaline rush. It was like being at the top of the world."

Things got really necky when he was forced to downclimb the building after failing to make it across to a neighbouring building using the suspension wires from a bridge link.
