BMC Winter Lecture Tickets On Sale Now

Tickets for the BMC's Winter Lecture series are now on sale and a handy way of brushing up on your winter skills theory or simply finding out what you need to know if you're a novice.

The lectures presented by qualified guide Dave Hollinger and aspirant, Rob Jarvis, cover equipment and& clothing, navigation, footwork, route planning, avalanche awareness and winter climbing all spiced up with lots of inspirational photos and stories.

The lectures aren't a substitute for qualified instruction but both they and the BMC's excellent Winter Essential DVD are a great way of reminding yourself of the basics. Dates and venues for the lectures, which take place in November are:
