Sir Chris approaches the summit of Snowdon with torch in hand.
And climbs atop the 'summit thing' to brandish it. Who chose those white pajamas eh?
Looks just like a summer bank holiday weekend up there!

We'd love to bring you super spangly, bright images of Sir Chris Bonington carrying the Olympic Torch onto the summit of Snowdon this morning, but all we can manage are these slightly blurry web feed grabs courtesy of Berghaus PR supremo Chris Lines who abandoned his Cornflakes for the greater good.

But it's great to to see one of the legends of British mountaineering - and still an active climber - involved in the torch relay. Kenton Cool will also apparently be back from Everest in time to take his turn with the torch.

Who chose those ridiculous white pajamas though?
