Brasher Off To Sunderland

Lightweight boot maestros Brasher are moving house for Christmas.

The Lancaster-based company are shifting their HQ across the country to join fellow Pentland Group outdoor outfit Berghaus in Sunderland, but if you're worrying about the advent of super-brand Brasher-haus then don't fret, it ain't going to happen.

The deal is that although the companies will share certain facilities, like a coffee machine and a Managing Director - Tony Wood, MD of Berghaus - they will retain their separate identities and have their own areas and showrooms.

We reckon there are going to be some big needle five aside games though, and our money's on the Brasher Boot Boys, they're a mean bunch of hombres. Don't be surprised to see a range of shin protectors in the Berghaus autumn/winter 2002 range.
