Planning control in the new Cairngorm National Park causes concern

There's an interesting piece by Ed Douglas in the Society section
of today's Guardian about the planning situation in the proposed
Cairngorm National Park.
If the Scottish Parliament approves the plan as it stands then
planning permission for projects in the park will remain in the hands
of the local authorities who approved the bitterly contested
funicular railway project on Cairngorm itself.
