Coming To Wasdale?
It's the last call for this weekend's OM meet-up at Wasdale, the weather's looking good and the route options are awesome, so if you're at a loose end, why not join us?

A last minute reminder that there's an OUTDOORSmagic Meet-Up at
Wasdale this weekend, so if you fancy a last minute get away, roll-up
and put some faces to names...
Briefly we're going to be camping in the field next to the Barn Door
shop at Wasdale Head from Friday afternoon through to Sunday.
Everyone's welcome, we meet as a group of friends and people are free
to walk, climb or scramble with other OMers or do their own
thing.
All you need to bring is a sense of humour and a willingness to
enjoy yourself in the hills and / or in the pub in the evening,
though neither is really compulsory. If you want to lie on your back
and watch clouds float over Scafell Pilke, then no-one's going to
complain :-)
It's a stunning place though, and well worth the trip up, for more
details, if you need them, see the incoherent forum thread linked to
below.

Newbold. Guy's leaving the valley soon, so this is a chance to wish
him well and see him gambolling in his natural habitat...

Well, I'm coming and, as far as I'm aware, the deal is that we camp at the Barn Door site, though I'm happy to be corrected. Oh, Grey Mark 2 Golf GTi, blue Macpac Minaret, Nepali prayer flags :-) Arriving some time mid- Friday afternoon I think.
