Conan's Everest Talk - Quick Reminder

This is a quick last minute reminder that OM member Conan Harrod is giving a talk tomorrow (Wednesday) night about his successful Everest expedition. It's being held in Manchester and tickets are available on the door. All proceeds go to "Christies Against Cancer", to add to the £3000 Conan's expedition has already raised.

This year's successful Everest expedition was Conan's second attempt on the mountain. His first ended in disaster when an American climber above him slipped and catapulted him down the North Face. His left leg was fractured in several places and, at an altitude of 8600m, he was well into the 'death zone'. Especially as the American climbers decided to abandon him ...
