The Peak District Park Authority has announced the formation of a consultative forum for the North Lees Estate Conservation area, which contains Stanage, probably the most popular crag in Britain. The idea is for people who use the area, including climbers and walkers, to be able to put forward their views on how it should be managed.

The Peak Park is the most heavily used in Britain and car parking and access in particular is a live and controversial issue for the area. For more information you can contact Matthew Croney on 01629 816351 or e-mail: mc@peakdistrict-npa.gov.uk to go on their mailing list. Alternatively there's more information on the Park's official web site.
