One for the northern-most OMers, and it's not just films, there are presentations too...
One for all you Scots-based OMers, the 21st Dundee Mountain Film Festival takes place this month on the weekend of the 28-30, with a programme that includes 24 mountain films.
The three-day event, based at the Bonar Hall, University of Dundee, celebrates mountaineering achievements, adventure and exploration.
There's a wide variety of mountain activities covered in the films, with plenty of climbing as well as ski-ing, snowboarding and kayaking, a few of these are award-winning films from the Banff World
Tour. You'll also have a chance to see presentations by seven leading mountaineers and film-makers (see below for details). On top of that there’ll be exhibitions, trade stands, book signings and opportunities to meet the speakers.
Tickets are between £5 and £9 and a Saturday-Sunday Ticket is available for £25. You can find out more about the festival and order tickets online on their website.
