The guys and gals of the Edale Mountain Rescue Team in the sunny Peak District have teamed up with local caff owner Dave Bagnall of Coopers Cafe and campsite to create a mountain rescue display in the cafe and sell a special edition mountain rescue mug in aid of the team.
Three of the team dropped by the caff the other day to thank Dave for his efforts and to install a rescue stretcher in the caff's specially built display which is centred around a map of the operational area with photos of the team in action at various location.
Dave has also worked with the team to create a special edition insulated mug featuring both the Edale Team's logo and that of the cafe. The mugs are available at Coopers and sell for £6.00 each with all proceeds going to EMRT.
All good stuff and Coopers, as you may know, is handily located in the heart of Edale village conveniently close to the start of the Pennine Way, so if you're passing through, drop in, grab some coffee and cake and add to your mug collection in a good cause.
You can also make a donation online and find out more about the team and its work at www.edalemountainrescue.co.uk.
