The latest Gore-Tex Experience Tour, erm, experience looks absolutely brilliant. It's the chance for four winners to head out to the Spanish Pyrenees and, with expert assistance, watch and photograph the rare brown bears which now roam wild in the area.
Together with two forest rangers, a biology expert and a professional photographer, the team will head out into the Vall d'Aran area to follow, learn about and photography the bears. It's an astonishingly beautiful place lying on the border with France and home to brown bears which were first reintroduced to the area in the late 1990s.
The original three bears - no, not those three bears, they were called Giva, Melba and Piros - have swollen in number to almost 30 and they roam freely in the wilderness.
To take part, you need to tell Gore why you should be considered, why animals and the environment are important to you and why you care about nature. You also need to be in good physical condition, though there will be no bear wrestling involved. Once Gore has selected the top ten applicants, as usual, there'll be a public vote on Gore's Facebook page to select the final four winners.
You also need to be from a European country, over 18, speak English as the experience will be in English and available for four days from 13-16 September, 2012.
