Gore-Tex Winter Skills Competition Winner Revealed
A winter skills weekend for two at Plas y Brenin plus a pair of brand new Gore-Tex XCR jackets courtesy of Mountain Equipment. One lucky OUTDOORSmagic member is very happy this morning :-)

We have a winner for our Gore-Tex winter skills weekend
competition and he is - cue fanfare, flashing lights, etc -
OUTDOORSmagic member Chris Ward from Wrexham.

wins a great winter skills weekend for himself and one other person
at the Welsh National Mountain Centre at Plas y Brenin in
Snowdonia where some of the best outdoor professionals in the
business will be teaching him how to stay shiny side up in British
winter mountain conditions.
To keep dry and comfortable, Chris and his companion, will also have
brand new three-ply Gore-Tex jackets from Mountain Equipment,
either a men's Ogre or a women's Nanga Parbat depending on where the
bumps are...
The answer to the question, if you were wondering, was that there
is no time limit on the Gore-Tex guarantee, it is based on the
satisfaction of the customer. That is, so long as you look after your gear properly:-)
So congratulations to Chris, we should be be reporting back on his
weekend, so watch this space. We'll have more great competitions up
soon.
