Guardian Goes Walking

New seven-part series mixes UK walks with high brow themes.

A quick heads up that the Guardian and Observer newspapers are running a seven-part series on Great British Walks from this Saturday, 6 June, 2009.

The series is themed, so you can add a bit of culture to your outings with Art and Literature, Film and Music, War and Politics, Engineering and Architecture, Lost Worlds and Legends, Castles and Churches and Wildlife and Water all scheduled to put in appearances right across the UK.

All good stuff. You can buy the paper - do people still buy papers? - or browse through the Guardian web site at www.guardian.co.uk
