Haglöfs Sponsor GB Orienteering Team

Swedish brand Haglöfs has announced that it's to extend its kit sponsorship of the British orienteering team for a further two years.

That means that the 50-odd members of the senior and junior GB Orienteering Teams will be using Haglöfs clothing while on official squad duties around the world. Orienteering is, say Haglöfs, becoming increasingly popular in the UK with the British Orienteering Federation now having over 12,000 members.

The firm's support is particularly apt given that the sport is massively popular in Scandinavia where trees and lakes make it particularly challenging. We asked Haglöfs if using their kit would improve our navigation - for some reason they just laughed at us...
