Specialist outdoor publisher Cicerone is launching no fewer than three new guidebooks to the Hebridean islands of Scotland at Cotswold Outdoor in Glasgow next month with the added bonus of the opportunity to sample the range of Jura Whisky and a chance to win free guidebooks.
The event will take place on Saturday 7 July at the Cotswold Outdoor store in Glagow running from 2-5pm and features three new books - Walking on Uist and Barra by Mike Townsend, Cycling in the Hebrides by Richard Barrett and Walking on Rum and the Small Isles by Peter Edwards all new titles published in June and joining a collection of 39 Cicerone guidebooks on Scotland.
Along with those three authors, you'll also be able to meet and quiz Dan Bailey, the author of recently published Great Mountain Days in Scotland, and bestselling Scotland’s Mountain Ridges.
Finally along with the change to sample the best of Jura's whisky - the island has just the one award-winning distillery - win a bottle of the same or land some free guidebooks, there's also a special Scottish maps and books promotion running in store all day.
