If you're wondering what it must feel like to stand on the summit of your 14th 8,000er then check out the Berghaus web site where there's a short video taken by Alan Hinkes on top of Kangchenjunga.

The file, in Windows Media format (WMV) is complete with sound and shows Alan's characteristic summit celebration as he holds a photograph of daughter Fiona and his grandson Jay for the camera.

He then points out that it's getting dark, he needs to get down and gives a slightly suppressed 'Yeah!' in celebration before breaking into an altitude cough and heading down...

You can see the video at www.berghaus.com
